Vincennes, Indiana April 9, 2009 -- Vincennes University (vinu.edu), Indiana's first college, is teaming up with the Midwest TQ Racing League (mtqrl.com) for their inaugural season to promote a “New Era in Three Quarter Midget Racing.”
For the 2009 season the Vincennes University Midwest TQ’s, have 19 races scheduled at dirt tracks located primarily in southeastern Indiana. The season begins May 2nd in Greensburg at the Decatur County Fairgrounds and runs through late September.
Founded in 1801, VU is now embarking on its third century of providing top quality education. VU is Indiana\'s first college and is one of the oldest in America. It is the birthplace of one of the nation\'s first two-year institutions of higher learning.
