Vincennes University Becomes the First Institute of Higher Learning in the State of Indiana to Become a Title Sponsor for a Racing Series
Stop by and visit the MTQRL booth (F16 and F17) on Saturday at the Indy Circle Track Expo where the expanded 2012 race schedule will be unveiled.
The Indy Circle Track Expo is a Swap Meet / Trade Show / Auction held on Saturday January 28th at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. It is one of the biggest shows of its kind in the entire country, and by far the biggest in the entire midwest! Last year there were just over 400 booth spaces with 165 different vendors from 13 states. The Indy Circle Track Expo brings together local racers, professional racers, racing manufacturers, dealers, race tracks and sanctioning bodies all under one roof at the Champions Pavillion.
The "Racers Auction" is scheduled to start in Hall A of the South pavillion at noon. If you have any questions you may contact MCS Auctions at (765) 366-2263 or visit their website at www.mcsauctions.com.
At 1:00 pm DO Laycock and Kimb Stewart will host the "Indiana Open Wheel Awards Ceremony" where CJ Leary will be presented the IOW TQ Midget Driver of the Year for the second year in a row. Leary finished his sophomore TQ season with over ten feature wins (including two in four starts with the MTQRL) and the UMRA championship.
Following the IOW Awards presentation will be the "Circle Track Feud" where Mechanics, Legends and Current Heroes will compete in a game show type format to raise money for the Shane Hmiel Road to Recovery. Scheduled participants are Hurryin' Hank Lower, Steve Fox, Bryan Clauson, Scott Benic, Eric Gordon, Jerry Weeks, Bob East, Joey Saldana and Kevin Thomas.
While there also make sure and stop by the booths of MTQRL contingency sponsors Jackson Oil & Solvents and Hinchman Racing Uniforms.
